Medal of Honor (MoH) is a series of first-person shooter video games. The first game was developed by DreamWorks Interactive (now known as EA Los Angeles, formerly Danger Close Games) and published by EA Games for the PlayStation game console in 1999. Medal of Honor spawned a series of follow-up games including multiple expansions spanning various console platforms and the PC and Mac. The first twelve installments take place during World War II, while the more recent games focus on modern warfare.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (abbreviated MoH:AA) is a 2002 first-person shooter video game developed by 2015, Inc. and created by Steven Spielberg. It was published by EA Games and officially released for Microsoft Windows on January 22, 2002 in North America and on February 15, 2002 in Europe. Aspyr published the Mac OS X version released in August 2002.

Allied Assault is the third game in the Medal of Honor series. It is the first game in the series for Microsoft Windows, and the only game in the series with expansion packs.

The game uses the Quake III Arena engine, with modifications from Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K.², to simulate infantry combat in the European and North African Theaters during World War II.

Critically acclaimed, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault received an aggregated score of 91% from both GameRankings and Metacritic.



Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (Expansion 1: Spearhead)

The first expansion pack for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. It re-enacts 3 major European Theater battles through the eyes of Sgt. Jack Barnes (who is voiced by Gary Oldman), a paratrooper of the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. As Barnes, players land behind the Atlantic Wall on D-Day in Normandy, hold the line near Bastogne in the Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge and infiltrate Berlin before the Red Army begins their attack. Multiplayer has given several new weapons to the player's arsenal in Spearhead. An introduction of British and Russian weapons such as the PPsh-41 and the Lee Enfield have been introduced.


Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (Expansion 2: Breakthrough)

The second expansion pack for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. The player takes the role of Sgt. John Baker of the US 34th Infantry Division. This campaign covers the Battle of Kasserine Pass, the turning point of the North African campaign, the fall of Bizerte, the Allied invasion of Sicily in 1943, the bloody Battle of Monte Cassino, followed by the amphibious landings and defense of the beachhead at Anzio, Italy and finally, the battle of Monte Battaglia in September 1944. It adds Italian weapons for single player and multiplayer as well as the British and Russian weapons from Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Spearhead. Some new British weapons have also been introduced, such as the De Lisle carbine and the PIAT anti-tank weapon. This was the second and final of the MOHAA expansion packs.


Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault

Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault (abbreviated MoHPA) is a first-person shooter computer game the story of which takes place during the Pacific War. It is the 7th installment of the Medal of Honor series.


Medal of Honor: Airborne

Medal of Honor: Airborne is a World War II first-person shooter video game and the 11th installment of the Medal of Honor series. It was developed by EA LA and was released worldwide on Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 in September 2007. Versions for the PlayStation 2 and Wii were planned but they were cancelled in 2007. Instead, Medal of Honor: Vanguard was released exclusively for those consoles. A PlayStation 3 version was released November 2007. The game takes place in the European theater of World War II, and is the first in the series to focus only on paratrooper activities.

Medal of Honor is a first-person shooter video game and the thirteenth installment in the Medal of Honor series. The title is rated 16. Developed by Danger Close Games and EA Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 12, 2010. While the previous titles were set during World War II, this game takes place in the ongoing War in Afghanistan.

Medal of Honor's single-player campaign uses heavily modified Unreal Engine 3 while multiplayer uses the Frostbite Engine. The game uses dedicated servers for PC and consoles. However, the server files have not been made public and are only available for use through specific Game Server Providers. It is the first game in the Medal of Honor franchise to receive an M rating from the ESRB.

A sequel, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, developed by Danger Close Games, was released on October 23, 2012 in North America, in Australia on October 25, 2012, in Europe on October 26, 2012 and in Japan on November 15, 2012.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a first-person shooter video game developed by Danger Close Games and published by Electronic Arts. It is a direct sequel to 2010's series reboot Medal of Honor and the fourteenth installment in the Medal of Honor series. The title was officially announced on February 23, 2012, and was released in North America on October 23, 2012, in Australia on October 25, 2012, in Europe on October 26, 2012 and in Japan on November 15, 2012 on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

The game picks up where Medal of Honor left off from before as it reveals Tier 1 operator Preacher returning home to find his family torn apart from years of deployment. The campaign also reveals that the deadly explosive, PETN, had begun to appear across the globe.

While hopes were initially held high by EA, the game was a critical and commercial failure, unlike its mildly successful predecessor. According to aggregating review websites GameRankings and Metacritic, the game received a 55.93% and 53/100 for the Xbox 360 version, 55.40% and 55/100 for the PlayStation 3 version and 51.33% and 55/100 for the PC version
